Lag in dismissing notifications

I didn't see any recent posts on this. When dismissing a notification on Notifications screen (the one you pull down from the top), is anyone else getting a lag? Several times I have dismissed two notifications because I thought I missed the tiny X so I hit it again. A few seconds later, two notifications disappear.

I'm running iOS 8.1.1 on a 5s.

Pull-down on notifications causes a little frame drop, yes. Similar to the Spotlight lag of iOS 5/6.
