Lag in Messaging?

In the messaging application I am experiencing EXTREME lag with opening the application and rotating the keyboard.

It takes upwards of 7 seconds sometimes to open the messaging app, also when rotating the keyboard it can take up to 5 seconds or so.

Anyone else getting this lag?

I never had that problem on my original nor on my 3GS, I would try a reset or restore to fix it!

I have been experiencing this a lot lately. Last night I counted about 12 seconds before it started to flip. The weird thing I noticed though is that if I flip to the right its much quicker then if I flip to the left.
