Hi Everyone! I own two Macbook Pro (MBP 2009 15" + MBP 2015 15").

Here is my problem :

1) MBP 2009 on Mavericks = super smooth scrolling + no lag in typing, on files around 15-19 mb. They contain links, images, various fonts...

However, MBP 2015 on High Sierra = average scrolling on these files + various lag in typing, sometimes almost absent, sometimes important depending on the paragraphs.
When there are lags, TextEdit uses 100% of UC in the Activity Monitor.

2) For the record, MBP 2009 on Capitan = horrendous scrolling on these files. Big lag in typing.
MBP 2015 on Capitan = experience as horrendous as with the 2009, so I got back to High Sierra. I tried Sierra, it's worst than on High Sierra.

Do you have any idea as to how I can solve the issue on the MBP 15 (High Sierra) ? Just for information, the two laptops use the same fonts.

I can't understand a 10 years old Macbook on an old software version (Mavericks) can perform 10 times better than a more recent one on High sierra....
