LAN Cable with MB Air

Is it possible to connect a LAN cable to the MB Air, I know that there is not a LAN slot but could you do it via a crossover cable attachment?

There is a USB-based ethernet dongle you can get from Apple.

No, I't doesn't come with the AIR the main thing people have a hard time with is they designed the AIR to be completely wireless. But they do sell the dongle at the store.
