Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of some software that will allow video conferencing over a LAN without the need of an Internet connection.

Some other requirements: I'd like it to work between Windows XP and OS X (Windows can use a different program if that's necessary). Also, it has to be compatible with OS X 10.2.8 (it's the only version available on the school computer that I'm working with for this project).

I appreciate anybodies suggestions or recommendations.

Hello, morphineseason. I'd recommend you to try out the TrueConf Server. This is a software-based server for group videoconferencing, works in LAN/VPN networks. The solution is a UC&C platform - it supports client applications for Windows and Mac and allows you to collaborate when working on projects.
