Landscape keyboard - extra buttons on iPad?

So the iPhone 6 Plus landscape mode keyboard added cool new keys for copy, paste, etc. I have iOS 8 GM on my iPad Air, and the landscape keyboard is the plain old keyboard. Doesn't seem right? I don't see a setting for it anywhere. I did restore from an iOS 7 backup. Did Apple really omit this from the iPads or am I missing something?

It's only for iPhone 6 Plus. The iPad keyboard is designed to have full size keys.
