Landscape on the 6/6 Plus

Do you think now that both phones are larger that apps will start adding landscape functions back to their apps? One thing I started disliking about app updates is a lot were locked to being vertical. I know Apple mentioned apps working on that dual panel mode but mean just standard apps not being locked to one orientation.

I don't mean the landscape mode. I mean like WhatsApp for example will display vertical or landscape, Twitter on the other hand doesn't. I would think with the extra real estate (of both actually) it would be nice to get more apps being able to do both again.
