OK, how do shoot you get widescreen/landscape video? If I turn the iPhone to landscape, it plays back upright like the camera is sideways.

and if you take a video camera and turn it sideways guess what it shoots sideways. the lens does not rotate in the camera so if it's side ways then it will video sideways. the iphone can rotate the video but not what you are shooting..

I figured it out. Basically if you want to shoot landscape, you have to have the phone landscape before shooting. It won't switch while recording. I guess it didn't register I had it in landscape before I hit record.
