Hi everyone, I bought a MacBook pro retina, and the log in screen won't change to English, even though I changed all the settings to English, it's in Chinese and I can't get rid of it

Your options are to reinstall with the desired language chosen during installation or to use the terminal command in the link.

I would do the terminal command.

The login UI language is controlled by the root account.

You'll need access to the root account and change the language preferences from there. After that, the changes will be reflected in the login UI.

It worked for me, when I changed one of my iMacs from English to Italian for guest usage in my home.
