Hi everyone,

Haven't been able to hold a iPhone 5 yet, but I just looked at some pictures of it and I noticed that the speaker has a big grid in the bottom (see http://media.idownloadblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/iPhone-5-dummy-iMore-001.jpg). For those that own an iPhone 5, do you think it would be possible to squeeze in a lanyard strap in one of those holes? If you don't know what I'm talking about, see http://www.wellpromo.com/upload/upimg21/Black-Leather-Stylish-Lanyard--245721.jpg.

Thanks!

Not a chance.

You'd be better off wrapping a lightning cable off of your neck and letting the iphone just dangle.

There are several good quality, ultra-thin cases on the market that will accept a Japanese style phone strap or lanyard with a thin connector.

They're not big enough. Even if they were don't do it, haha. Get a case like this.
