I've seen quite a few threads talking about good bags for the 15" and 17", but nobody seems to mention the 13". A few bags have jumped out at me as something I'd be interested in as I've been browsing, but I'm not sure if they're too large to keep the 13" from sliding around:

The North Face Surge
BBP Industries
STM Rogue

Any input or firsthand knowledge on whether any of these bags can carry the 13" MBP safely would be much appreciated.

if you get the STM Rogue, go for the medium instead of the small. I say this because the small will not have enough room for a sleeve and the macbook. Where as my 13" MBP and sleeve fit comfortably in the medium STM Rogue. I also suggest getting a sleeve because the STM Rogue is not the most padded.

Finally, while I am happy with the Rogue, I think if I had a chance to do it over, I would have bought the spire volt instead.

If you wanted a computer specific backpack, I use a MacPack from MacCase with my BlackBook:

They sell it with a sleeve. The interior compartments are designed priparily to hold computer accessories rather than books and such, though.
