How are you guys and gals covering your MacBooks, and other portable devices?
My 12in Macbook recently went belly up. I bought it used and didn't have AppleCare on it, but did have a State Farm Personal Articles Policy on it, mostly to cover loss, theft or damage while in transport. They have authorized the payment, and now I wait. I am planning to buy a 13in Pro once that payment comes in, in the meantime, I am trying to decide what coverage I want to put on it. Specifically, do I want to add AppleCare+, or is that just not needed. I do plan to add the new laptop to my State Farm policy. Was curious to know how others cover their devices. AppleCare+ only? AppleCare in conjunction with an insurance policy? 3rd party device warranty/coverage (SquareTrade, Upsie, etc)? Nothing at all, outside of manufacturer's warranty?
