Attached is the image. This is what happens if I start flipping through 50-100, 10mb RAW photograph.

GPU shoots way up in temp and yea.

Any ideas what I should do?

Specs- Macbook Pro 2.2, 8600M GT GPU. Would have bought it Nov 07 (not sure what model it is, right before they came out with the new trackpad)

Thanks,

Looks like GPU overheating under high load. Time to schedule genius bar appointment if you are under warranty.

8600? Yeah, Genius Bar time. You most likely qualify for the warranty extension on the bad Nvidia chips.

thats what I was thinking :(

now what would happen if the closes Genius bar is 450km away?

If I was to send it back to Apple to get fixed/replaced...what might happen? any ideas

(have the 3 year warranty)
