I have been poking around in the GUI and terminal trying to figure out how to reassign my 'enter' key (not the 'return [enter]' key). I do not want to remap it with something else, I simply want it to be seen by the system as a 'ctrl' key so I can use spaces with only my right hand like a desktop.

Anyone have any guiding light?

what's the difference?

DoubleCommand lets you remap keys - I have my 2nd enter key remapped to Windows-style delete

Thank you! This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for! I was only able to find keyboard remapping (exchange functions) options using the terminal, and I was not going to try and use my own commands that I was not confident about to remap. I am happily flying around spaces already!
