I have a 14 inch iBook G4, 933 mHz, 384 mg RAM, 40 gig hard drive, combo drive. Also, I have tons of software loaded onto it--Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, Photoshop, Office X. It's relatively new (3-4 months) and is in good condition.

I was thinking about selling it and buying a 12 inch powerbook. Any thoughts, advice, or idea on how much I could get for my iBook? Any comments would be appreciated.

I'll disregard the software, but I sold my 12" 800MHz G4 iBook (purchased March 04) with 640MB RAM, 60GB HD, AE, BT, and a notebook sleeve and got just about $1000 for it.

I sold it and bought a 12" PowerBook. The best computer I have ever owned. Its amazing.

Same

I did the same as the previous poster, and I'm writing from a PowerBook 12 inch. It's great. It's even faster than the iBook (which I thought was fast). Be sure to get a lot of RAM though. It was practically unusable at work (Photoshop, GoLive, etc.) with 256 MB. 768 really does the trick though.

eh, if you sold the software with it you'd have to purchase new licenses for the software. That's easily way over 1K with what you said was on it, so is the software that you have that you'll be selling warez?

I have no interest in any unlicensed software. However, I might be interested in the laptop. Which city do you live near? If it's close enough I could actually see it before buying it, that'd be helpful.

Unfortunately,

I live in Gainesville, FL, and I see that you live in Andover. I do, however, have pictures and could take video of it, if you wish.
