Laptop recovery software

Had my MBP stolen from my apartment in late February this year, definitely a terrible experience.

Moving on though, I've bought a new one and will be buying a MacBook soon for a family member. In the future, I'd like to be a bit more prepared for such incidents.

I've been looking at Undercover (family license seems like a good deal), but am looking for any suggestions you guys might have.

Bump.. have heard recently that Undercover's support is kind of slow -- it also concerns me that they aren't located in the US. Any help out there??
