Curious.
I've been having major issues with my MBP from last year 15" high end. It has gone in for 3 major repairs already and was told by a technician that if I went in again I would have it replaced. And the problem is still persisting, so I'll be going again.
I don't have applecare. I'm still under the first year warranty, which is what scares me so much (I thought apple made solid products*)
Generally, does apple replace my laptop with the newest model year? Or the monetary equivalent to what I bought? Or do they replace it with a refurbished laptop of the same generation as mine?
*I know they make good products, all my other apple stuff is great!
