Hi guys, I need some help of file recovery. The size of the file is very big about 20GB. I use my Mac, while have VMware to run my Windows. WM created a large file which contains everything of my "win 7" I do have a time machine, but I DO NOT let time machine to keep copy of these 20GB files, because it changes overtime and time machine always copy the huge 20GB files.

I have an external disk, several partitions. I first copy the 20 GB file to my external hard disk partition A. I use my partition B as my time machine and other partition as other functions. Then I formatted my lion then use time machine to recover. Everything is fine, except I don't have the large 20GB file.

Then I accidentally formatted my partition A, which stores the 20 GB file. So the 20 GB file was gone. I tried to use Wondershare Data recovery and Disk Drill to rescue my partition A, but seems like they cannot recognize the type of the big file. It only shows I have a few 4 GB files as text clipping, but I have no idea how to combine these. I personally think it's impossible to do this.

The file is EXTREMELY important for me. I will almost die if I cannot recover it tonight.

Someone help??????????????

Thank you very much guys.
