I was curious about how many people hold their iPad 2 with one hand stretched out back.

It's actually pretty comfortable and I can rotate and move it about easily and with a firm grip. The tapered sides feel great.

(I didnt realize it was so shaky when I took this, and I'm admittedly a little lazy right now)

Interesting idea but needs more energy. At least for me

Smart cover folded half and grip on left side works best for me.

I can do this also but it isn't comfy at all for long periods of time. I just rest it in my opened hand.

With my hand griping the iPad it is a much more stable surface in my hand. Just with an open hand, it is unbalanced and moves when you tap around (I suppose I tap hard, I mean look at my left hand...now imagine the right)

It's not like I'm stretching my hand out here either. It's relaxed and my finger tips curl around the edges. I can tighten my finger tips and it makes a grip that I can confidently swing my arms about willy-nilly.

Also I should mention I think the iPad is too small and I liked the original Xbox controller a.k.a. "The Duke"

this is possibly the thread which has the most accurately put thread title.
