Hello,

I have a 150+GB video/photo library. Just tops around 110,000 files. Unfortunately, up until recently, I used Google to manage most of it and have since downloaded everything to my external drive.

I'm looking for a way to manage these pictures. An app - any suggestions/recommendations welcome.

5? months ago I tried Adobe Lightroom but after hours and hours of 100% cpu I figured it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, although I could use it. I tried Photos app but it really starts bogging down past 80GB. The last thing I believe is that I have to go through each photo one by one and manually put it in a folder.

I also tried Photomechanic for a few days and liked what I saw but haven't tried it for 5+ months. Before I plop down $150 would like to get other opinions.

I don't really mind spending $ especially now as I'm ready to try to organize these photos. I'm not a photo editor, I just want to organize them so I can share them with family.
