I'm running out of room! lols

I can't even fit my i5 Mac Mini in, or the MBP13!!!

You could list two Macs/devices per line and divide them via a • or similar symbol. Thus you would still have one line for a quote.

That's what I do. If signatures were much bigger they'd overwelm the content of the post so much it would be hard to see.

Also, it's in the rules:

Signature rules:
Maximum 200 characters and 4 lines.
No blank lines or lines of punctuation characters!
May not be distracting, oversized, or in conflict with any forum rules.
Please use continuous text rather than many short lines.
For example, use this:
24" Aluminum iMac, 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HD ; 4 GB iPod nano
instead of this:
24" Aluminum iMac
2.8 GHz
4 GB RAM
750 GB HD

Your signature :

Signature
MBA11 1.7Ghz i5 4gb RAM 128 SSD
rMBP15 2.3Ghz i7 Quad Core 8gb RAM 256 SSD
iMac27 2.8Ghz i7 32gb RAM 500GB SSD 9TB Ext Raid 5
iMac27 3.4Ghz i7 24gb RAM 3TB Fusion

Nothing wrong with all the computers but is it nesessary to be specific about them ?

Don't forget to put where you bought them, name of store employee, cost of shipping/tax, the day you got them, how much the way, degree they face relevant to North and how long they've been on.

;):D Kidding.

I'm glad there is a limit to the amount of space dedicated to signatures. On some of the forums I frequent, some uses have signature that extend for the entire page (often with full blown color images, flash content, etc.) and they like to post one-word replies meaning every time there is a discussion all I see is pages and pages of signatures.

What do you expect when you feel the need to write all that hardware down.

I really dont understand the need to tell people what you own.

What are you making up for?!

I say keep the signatures short and simple. Much like how they are now. (Even though I don't use mine.)

140 character limit sounds good, provided that's for displayed characters. I'd like to see an additional and separate BBCode limit of 100 characters though, and 2 lines maximum.

And a size 1 font.
