hey everyone. i have a apple mac mini 1.5 intel core solo. I currently have it hooked up to a hanns-g 19" widescreen. I have been looking at the apple displays. Can I run a 30" or a 23" with my mini? I assume the 20" would be no problem. Alos, is there a way to run 2 displays? Thanks.

That thing came with the GMA950, right? It should push up to 2048x1536, which means a 23" no problems. It will NOT push a 30", and I doubt you'll be able to run 2 displays. It's not a real graphics card that the mini has...

Look up Apple cinema displays on the Apple website. It says which monitors are compatible with which Macs. Mac Mini, 23 inch but not 30 inch.

the 23 definitely works, but as to running two displays, i doubt that you could use two displays unless you wanted to just mirror them, the mac mini doesn't have a dedicated video card [which i guess could be upgraded] but this is still a base model for :apple:

the maximum resolution supported is 1920x1200 - i.e. the ACD 23".

the graphics chipset is integrated and cannot be upgraded or replaced.

you cannot run two displays simultaneously using a Mac mini.
