I have an iMac 11,2 and upgraded the hard drive to 6tb a few years back. I'm in need of upgrading again. Does anyone know what the largest size drive I could install so I don't have to upgrade again in a few years. I use it strictly for media and am always ripping my CDs and movies there so I can watch and listen using my Apple TV rather than having to insert CDs or DVDs.

I'm not quite there yet. I guess the 14tb I've been looking at will work then. Thanks for the quick reply.
 
Speed primarily, plus I like the fact of everything being on one drive. When I upgrade the drive I ghost everything to the new one, install and I'm up and running.
