Moved. Re-connected everything. My late 2013 iMac direct into LaserJet 2015dn works fine, of course. My Macbook late 2006 saw it, too and was fine. Nacbook 2008 dropped it.
I tried to reconnect a few times. Deleted the printer. Unplugged everything. Found it a hassle to even get the accompanying software on HP site. (Yes, I have the CD, but wanted to be as up-to-date as possible.)
Part of the issue is in HP's instructions...which even mentions AppleTalk as an option to connect
Still, over my Airport, it doesn't work. Adding printer, I don't always SEE the HP. Ironically, it sees the unplugged, unused Canon iPixma.
MY QUESTION: Has HP dropped support completely? It was very roundabout to even find the proper driver. Now, after all my attempts, I have neither Macbook seeing my HP. Trying via the Systems Prefs >Printers doesn't really help. Can't ADD what it can't SEE.
