i downloaded this for my new imac (17 inch C2D 2.0ghz), but once i open it...it just closes after about a second and an apple error message appears. i've tried re-downloading but to no avail. anyone know what's up?

Did you shutdown iTunes first? That might be something simple to solve it.

If that doesn't do it then try the 1.0.0 beta

ah thanks, i did that and it sorted it straight away!

i'm still a bit new to this mac stuff.
