I ended up having to buy a laptop the other day. Haven't needed one in years! I bought the cheapest pro with the touch bar...3.1 i5 8/256.
Anyway, I haven't had any device that has USB-C yet. I don't anticipate needing to plug anything into the computer except my phone to charge. Has anyone tested the lightning to USB-C cables from amazon yet or should I just get the apple one?
I had also read that this laptop wasn't a big upgrade from the previous release. I presume that doesn't matter as I wasn't upgrading. Was this model a poor choice? I can still return in
. I had planned to get a MacBook and grabbed this one at the last minute instead. Usually I spend eons researching and perfecting my choice but this time I just didn't have the time luxury!
