I thought the last update to safari was supposed to fix the problem with not being able to sign into hotmail and such. It worked the very first day it was realeased but thats it.

Will the mail app ever work seamlessly with hotmail? I tried the freemacpops but couldnt get it to work. I love the mail app but just wish it worked with hotmail. I need hotmail for my zune and 360. i think if i didnt have those items i might invest in the new mobileme.

if anyone has any advice on what i can do to make it work or just some comments it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I use the HTTPMail plugin for leopard and it works great with mail.

I use the HTTPMail plugin for leopard and it works great with mail.

Note that for many to all users, HTTPMail breaks when using it in 10.5.3

In addition, in the near future, Microsoft will stop supporting a key feature that is needed for that plug-in to work

this is reason # 807 on why i refused to upgrade from 10.4.9

10.4.10 killed my wifi, none of the airport updates fixed squat.

had to reformat to 10.4.6 and then readd all my updates til i got 10.4.9. I don't think i'll ever move forward...all i see after this release is problem after problem.

i just realized that snow leopard is supposed to provide native support for exchange and stuff in mail ical and such. maybe this will allow me to access hotmail with the mail.app
