Late '08 15" Pro DVD reader

Hi

Anyone got any ideas?

Got a unibody 15" Pro which refuses to read DVDs at all - putting any DVD in there simply makes it decide to try read it for 5 minutes then give up and say its blank. Got a MATSHITADVD-R UJ-868 in the machine.
