Like it or not, there's been a lot of discussion on the boards about the late 2008 aluminum macbooks. They've had a lot of detractors, and equally passionate advocates.

One of the points I've heard repeatedly is that people who are satisfied with their machines do not post or participate in threads which are critical of them; it's aruged that the boards are skewed.

I'd like to give people an opportunity to vote on how much their satisfied with their machines, and am trying to be careful with the questions so as to not create any sort of bias. I've also set the poll up to be indefinite and multiple choice. If you get one and are not satisfied with it, but like it's replacement, you can hopefully do a combination vote.
 
I love mine.

Only problem I had was a botched movie rip which took up 20gigs of space, which freaked me out until I figured out what happened...but that was my fault...

I've found it to be resistant so fall(s).

9.5/10 (no numb pad, but I knew it wasn't gonna have one...meh, I can use an external keyboard if I really need it)
 
I'm perfectly happy with mine. Out of all small problems people have cried about my unit only has the loose battery cover, and even that isn't really so loose. Of course it would have been nice to have something else than TN display, but those are common in laptops, even in PC world you can find non-TN panels only in 2k+ business laptops.
 
Happy with mine. Have a small piece of dust under the screen... but it's near the bottom, and I don't really focus there all the time.
