I know some people already asked in another thread about the manufacturer of the SSD in the new MacBook Pros, but I was curious if anyone has checked (or can check) make and model of the drives in their new machines.

I realize Apple often uses more than one drive to fill a particular capacity/speed slot in the lineup, but I'd still be interested to find out what people are finding in there.

Thanks!

The standard 5400 rpm models are Hitachi, at least the one's in the Apple Store are. I assume the 7200 rpm are too, but HDs are a commodity and I'm sure Apple switches them up w/o notice depending on what is available at the best price.
