Late 08 MBP issues... Aluminum "Bowing"

I bought a 15" MBP in August of 08 and I am now noticing that the sides of outside case are bowing (if thats the correct term) its like the case is flexing and bending and not perfect lines, doesn't effect any performance at all but I notice it and dont like it. Its an aluminum case, figured it be sturdy. Also there is slight "bow" in the cd slot and that is noticeable. I can see now possibly why they went to unibody build, is this a common issue??
