Those are the most recent iMacs. I received a refurb about 4 days ago with a fusion drive and I must tell you it was like new. I would recommend the refurb route because it's so affordable (relatively speaking).

I just configured a new one to come to the same conclusion. I'm DROOLING over it!! And for another $160 you can get 16 GB of Crucial RAM and bump the total memory up to 32 GB.

I bought a refurbished late 2013 iMac and love it. Aside from the fact that it came in a plain white box. I couldn't tell the difference from a new one.

Yep, and mid cycle is still a great time to buy.
The next rev will not be much faster. It never is.
