I've been getting rather aggravated by how soon my MBP has been dying so I decided to look for what was normal. Turns out anywhere from 9-13 hours is normal.
My battery has 100 cycles already and only gets in the neighborhood of 4 hours on a single charge.
Granted, I am using Chrome most of the time and watching videos on YouTube or listening to music, but this still seems really low! My brightness is usually on about 60-70% and Bluetooth is off.
Possibly unrelated, but I've also noticed that even when the battery is finished charging and the light is green, the MBP itself is very warm to the touch. I keep it plugged up all the time.
I unplugged about 2 hours ago, and I'm already at 40%...
No AppleCare, out of warranty, what should I do? Or does this sound normal?
