hi all i have a late 2006 core2duo 2ghz 17" imac the one with the 128mb ati x1600 graphics card. the specs i find online say it can support 1920x1200 (16:10 aspect ratio) i am wanting to purchase a samsung T240 24" lcd with the above res, any comments? as im needing to know if it will show this screen in full res rather then trying to match my imacs current res of 1440x900. any help would be great thanks!

eventually found out i cant get any 16:10 aspect ratio screens so opted for a 16:9 24" samsung P2450H 1920x1080 and connected it up via dvi and worked perfect no bars or forced res i was expecting issues running one screen 16:9 and the other 16:10 but my mac figured itself out perfectly
