Late 2006 iMac freezing issues

Hi there,

My late 2006 core 2 duo iMac has been freezing ever since I installed snow leopard a couple days ago. It will just lock up even if I have a web browser and another window up and I'll have to turn it off manually and turn it back on and it will do it again. I have heard its a graphics issue. Can I fix this??? Thanks!

Does it lock up if you don't run any apps? Try booting in the safe mode and see if it still locks up. You might try installing Mavericks and see if it still locks up. Upgrading your memory couldn't hurt either.
