Hey everyone.
Anyone else having a problem where you put in a blank cd to, you know, burn it, and then it just spits it back out?
It seems as though it's probably a hardware problem (in which case I'll never get it fixed) because the drive spins the CD up and down, tries to read it, and then just spits it out. Doesn't look like OS X (using Leopard) even gets to know there's a disc in there.
There is a small dent in the casing on the right corner where the disc drive is though. Maybe that somehow screwed it up.
There are 2 lasers or lenses aren't there? One for CDs and one for DVDs? Maybe the CD one is damaged. But it reads CDs just fine. It just doesn't seem to play well with blank ones.
Any ideas?
