I did not find anything in searching; apologies if it has been covered.
Anyway... I bought the Samsung Monitor BX2335 to use with a what I believe to be a late 2007 white MacBook. The monitor is perfect in all places except the resolution. You can notice the "wide stretching" on 1600x1200. When I select a higher resolution with a higher Hz the screen will go black and some text will appear saying, "1920x1080 60 Hz recommended". Now I'd gladly select it but it is not displayed as an option in my "display" settings as seen in the photo below. 1920x1440 is available but I am unable to see my dock in that setting. Is there any way to manually add the 1920x1080 setting?
(I also included my "About This Mac") Thanks.
