Hello people,
I'd really like your opinion on a weird case with my late 2007 white Macbook. It can't charge; the magsafe light lights dim green, not normal (bright) green or orange. It turns on only when there is a charge in the battery; if I connect the charger, the battery will remain with the charge it had, which shows that power is actually drawn from the charger. Yet, if I remove the battery completely or if the battery has no charge, the macbook won't power on. Charger and battery are both new and functional; they have been tested on other machines.
I took the machine to the local Apple reseller store (there are no Apple Stores in Greece), but they can't do anything because it is considered obsolete by Apple, no support, no spare parts, nothing. So, I guess I'm on my own.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest cleaning the MagSafe connections, then if that doesn't fix it, replace the MagSafe.
