I received my new Macbook Pro last week and it seems that every 4-5th time I insert a DVD it doesn't spin up and read the disk. If i eject the disk and insert it again it always works. I have tried different disks so it's not that. I am wondering is it me just jamming the thing in to fast or do you think this is a defective drive? Is this worth sending it back for? The machine is superb other than this (no bad pixels great fit/finish and keyboard/trackpad are pretty straight.) so I am a little resistant to return it but thought I would get some other opinions.

Thoughts?

Gently insert it and gently push it inward until it gets inside. Wait 'til the drive spins up. If it reads it, fine. If not, take it in for servicing.
