Late 2008 Macbook Pro : Display issues....

Hi there,

Just a few words. I received today my new MBP, ordered an hour after the event... and that's what happened :

First of all configuring languages, wifi etc I initially got to unexpected reboot.
Then 3 times, half of the screen instantly becoming black.
Since then... many different display issues occuring unexpectedly.

The following is my favourite :

Any, Ever-seen ? ideas ? suggestions ?

Floppy Screen

Anyone noticed the weak hinges? If like me you enjoy using your MBP in bed then you're probably aware of the issue. I'm not advocating a design fault here just pointing out that it is no longer easy to lay down flat with your MBP.

I ordered this one, half an hour after the launch, over the apple store on line

it's the basic 2.4Ghz MBP 15,4, with just a 7200rpm hard drive
