Hello everyone I recently had to replace a HDD in my late 08 MB because the old one completly crashed. I lost my restore disc as well. So i tried used my late 10 MB AIR usb boot drive to install OSX but I had no luck it kept say you cannot install MAC OSX on this system. So what do I need to do to get a copy of a MAC OS and install it on here?

You could contact Apple, if possible in your country, and ask for replacement Restore DVDs, which might be free (sometimes) or cost between 15 to 30 USD (more likely, though the price in your country may vary), or go to the Apple Online Store of your country and get the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD (it is a fully working Retail version of Mac OS X and does not need any prior installation of Mac OS X present to be able to install) for 19 USD (price may vary in your country).
