-started with snow leopard and upgraded to El capitan via hackintosh .app
-deleted main drive via disk utility
-can't reinstall through recovery mode because I don't have the original Apple ID that the computer was originally set up for (using my ID gets me "unable to do that right now" or something similar error when trying to download El capitan from the recovery
-tried to create multiple bootable USBs from windows through transmac with said hackintosh dmg file but they won't appear on the screen when using option key to start up
-can't use internet recovery because too old
-don't have original snow leopard discs

The Late 2008 MBP shipped with Leopard (10.5.4, 10.5.5 or 10.5.6), not Snow Leopard. A Snow Leopard install DVD can be purchased from Apple for $19.99.

There are also people on eBay that sell bootable El Capitan USB installers.
