so i was planning on cycling my battery and from my previous late 2007 MBP i would let the battery drain until it went into hibernation which last 5+ hours till the led shut off. Now it seems when it forces hibernation, there is no hibernation indicator on the front? Is this the same for everyone? how can we tell that the battery is completely discharged now so that we can do a complete and proper cycle as per apples instructions on previous models.

Thanks guys

Just leave it for 5 hours, regardless.

Either that, or you could just leave it until pressing the battery test has no result.

good idea about the battery result. too bad they removed the pulsating light during hibernation tho.
