Late 2008 Mfg 9400m Nvidia problems

I have read from a few places that this video card is buggy? They seem to be from earlier machines should mine be problematic? After a month or so and a logic change due to an unrelated problem I am NOW facing intermittent black flashes.. I restarted once and it was good for a few hours then it started up a bit albeit not as frequent as before. Now I have switched to high performance mode, so will see what happens.

Is there anything i can do ?

Maybe the 9600M GT but the 9400M is pretty solid - not really any problems if there was, it's an isolated issue.

A google search. I put it back to normal non high performance mode.. lets see if the black flashes come back. I think it would be related to insomniax..I uninstalled it.
