I need help trying to figure out what happened and how to fix problems I have after replacing my superdrive with an optibay cradle and HDD.

After replacing the superdrive and restarting, here is what I experience:
  • No airport hardware found
  • No bluetooth
  • Fans constantly running at 6000 RPM
  • Keyboard always illuminated

I have triple checked all connections around the superdrive space and motherboard, and tried placing the superdrive back in an attempt to fix or understand. All to no avail.

I can deal with some of the issues (replace airport with express card for example), but the constant fan noise is really irritating.

My system is a late 2008 MBP 15" 2.66Ghz. Any thoughts or direction would be very much appreciated.

Alternatively, if I could get a tech schematic / drawings of the late 2008 15" that may help.
