late 2008 unibody, backlit screen issue

My backlight seems to be dying. Is this fixable?

All MacBook Unibodies uses LED screen, in other words, the backlit and LCD is fused together you will have to buy the entire LCD screen if you know how to remove the glass yourself, otherwise you gotta buy the entire screen assembly. MacBook Pro 13" entire screen assembly works on MacBook Unibody, but the sleep sensor is on the right side instead of the left so you will need to reroute the sleep cable to the right. The sleep sensor is on the HDD cable.
