Hi, I am looking to upgrade the RAM in my late 2008 unibody Macbook. I was originally going to go to 4GB, but then I saw some old posts about putting in 8GB. I was wondering if this is actually possible. I'm running at 2GB right now and it's just way to slow for my needs. I edit audio recordings for a living and use a lot of other resource heavy music programs so an upgrade is kinda necessary for me at this point.

8GB typically won't work in this model, but 6GB will, so I would recommend getting a 4GB module and a 2GB module and using that.
