Hi everyone, I am planning on selling my Macbook Pro on Craigslist in order to get a new Macbook Air. I need some advice on how much I should sell it for.

Here are the specs:
15 inch Late 2009 Macbook Pro
4GB of Ram
Upgraded harddrive 500GB 7200 RPM
2.8 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo.

The computer is in used condition, but it has a small dent on the top right hand side. It is going to come with all of the original packaging, the latest Mac OS X, the latest iLife, the latest iWork, Microsoft Office 2011, and an incase case.

Thanks for the advice!

I just sold my 2009 MBP with similar specs for $850.
I did upgrade the ram to 8 GB, that just set me back 50 dollars though.

My specs:
2009 Unibody
8 GB Ram
3.06 Ghz C2D
320 GB Harddrive.

Upgrading the ram before you sell might help you. Try listing it first without the upgraded ram. If you get $800+, then you got a good price.

oops...

I just sold my with same specs (New removable battery, 4gb RAM + second charger) to a friend for $1350. :D:D

But it was perfect without any dents or scratches since it had always been in a Speck Skin-type Case....

Guess I got a good price!!
