A few weeks ago I started to notice some weird spots appear in the upper left hand corner of my screen. Then it seemed they either got worse or I started to notice them more than before. So, I bought a fancy suction cup and removed the glass and cleaned the glass. However, they remained.

I was able to get a picture using my iPhone, which is shown below. It has to be the LCD screen, yes? The crazy thing is it looks like spots, but I've never used liquids to clean the machine. I do believe I'm still covered, which is nice, but wanted to see if anyone has experienced this. I've done searched and only before online saw issues of large dark patches, but not spots like this.

Thoughts?

looks like bad LCD panel.

Can be costly to replace if you buy from Apple unless you have AppleCare

That looks like the others that posted pictures of dust getting between the lcd and the glass.

There is a thread talking about it in detail along with a DIY to clean it.
Though if it is still under AppleCare I would imagine you can get it repaired at the store.
