Hi everyone. I am wondering if I can mix two different memory modules for my Apple Mac Mini 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Computer - MC238LL/A?
I currently have this-> 4GB (2X2GB) SO-DIMM DDR3 RAM MC243G/A (220577509429).
I would like to add--> 4GB 204-PIN SODIMM 512Mx64 DDR3 PC3-8500 CL7 by Crucial.

Anyone have a similar set up and could tell me their experience:confused:
I heard and read mixed opinions/(mis)information like "as long as they are the same/close speed it is ok" and "NO IT'LL CRASH:mad:

Many thanks!

*UPDATE*
I placed it in today(the crucial 4GB) in combination with one 2GB by Apple and it reads 6GB. I went to usage and it read 4.98 GB. 1.02 GB were in use. Success, so far!
